Luz Maritha is an artist from the Iskonawa Indigenous community, an ancestral people who currently live alongside the Shipibo community of Calleria. Since childhood, Luz has been immersed in this cultural environment, where her community, made up of 12 Iskonawa families, keeps its traditions alive while coexisting with the Shipibo people. This cultural duality has significantly influenced her artistic development, enriching her work with the ancestral traditions of both Amazonian Indigenous peoples.
